Text: Rev. 22:12 And behold I come quickly and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work/deed shall be.
INTRODUCTION.
Due season connotes :-
** Divine timing for harvest or reaping.
** Appointed time for divine rewards .
** Season of fulfillment of divine promises.
WHAT IS DUE ?
Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived, God cannot be mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap.
Good or bad, blessings or curses are all available as rewards to our deeds.
You cannot sowed bad and be expecting to reap good, God forbid.
PROVOKERS OF GLORIOUS DUE SEASON.
1) Faith in God.
Abraham and Sarah trusted God and at the appointed time The Lord visited Sarah as HE had said and the Lord did to Sarah as HE had promised . For Sarah conceived and bare Abraham a son…Gen 21:1-2.
2) Patience and purity.
Joseph waited patiently focused in purity even in adversities and at his appointed due season, God visited him and rewarded him with a throne in a strange land bringing his dreams into realities. Gen 41
3) Consistency.
Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary in well doing for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.
Consistent followership gave Elisha double portion of Elijah’s anointing. 2 kings 2
CONCLUSION.
Life is a race, with events in it programmed, time to plant and time to reap. Eccl. 3
When it is your due season, life is rewarded accordingly.
When your positive due season comes, life is transformed.
Good and glorious due season is sustained with acknowledging God, celebrating your new status, remained humble and share your success with the aim of encouraging others.
I pray God remembers our good deeds and we shall be rewarded bountifully this season In Jesus Name Amen.
