‎Sunday Sermon: HELP IS ON THE WAY By Pastor Prof Durodola O. A.

‎📖 Psalm 121:1-2:

‎> “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.”

INTRODUCTION

‎Life sometimes confronts us with seasons of great need — physical, emotional, financial, spiritual, or relational. In such moments, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, forgotten, and helpless. But for the believer, there is a divine assurance: Help is on the way. The God we serve is not blind to our needs, nor deaf to our cry. He is a present help in time of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

‎Today, I declare to you in the name of Jesus — No matter what you’re going through, help is coming!

‎1. GOD IS AWARE OF YOUR SITUATION

‎📖 Exodus 3:7 – “I have surely seen the affliction of my people… and have heard their cry… for I know their sorrows.”

‎Before help arrives, there must be awareness. Our God is not ignorant of what you’re passing through. He sees the tears you cry in secret, the burdens you silently carry, and the enemies rising against you. He knows — and that knowledge is the first sign that your help is already in motion.

‎✅ Truth: God’s help doesn’t begin when you see it; it begins when He sees your need.

‎2. GOD IS NEVER LATE

‎📖 John 11:21, 43-44 – Jesus showed up four days after Lazarus died, and yet still called him out of the grave.

‎Delay is not denial. When it seems like nothing is happening, God is working behind the scenes. The delay may be to build your faith, teach you patience, or reveal His glory in a greater way.

‎✅ Truth: Divine help may not come on your schedule, but it will always come in God’s perfect time.

‎3. GOD USES PEOPLE, PLACES, AND PROCESSES

‎📖 2 Kings 5:1-14 – Naaman’s healing came through a slave girl’s recommendation, the prophet’s message, and obedience in dipping in Jordan.

‎Help may not come in the package you expect. It may come through unlikely sources: a friend, a stranger, an opportunity, a word, or even an instruction. Don’t despise ⁴the vessel — focus on the God who sends it.

‎✅ Truth: Be sensitive. Be humble. Be ready. Your miracle may be wrapped in simplicity.

‎4. HELP IS NOT JUST COMING — IT IS DIVINELY ORDAINED

‎📖 Isaiah 41:10, 13 – “I will help you, saith the Lord…”

‎Your help is not random or accidental. God has already planned your deliverance. He is a covenant-keeping God who delights in helping His children. He has assigned help to your name. The resources, the people, the strength — they are on the way!

‎✅ Truth: Help is not a possibility. For the believer, it is a promise.

‎5. GOD IS OUR ULTIMATE SOURCE

‎📖 Jeremiah 17:5-8 – Cursed is the man who trusts in man… but blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord.

‎While God may use people, never forget — He alone is your source. People may fail, connections may disappoint, but God remains faithful. Fix your eyes on Him, and He will never let you be ashamed.

‎✅ Truth: Trust in the Lord with all your heart, for He will never let your help be cut off.

CONCLUSION

‎Beloved, I don’t know what you’re going through — but I do know this: Help is coming.

‎Whether it’s healing, provision, clarity, or strength — expect it. Wait for it. Believe it. Declare it.

‎For “they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength…” (Isaiah 40:31)

‎Let this be your confession:

‎“I will not give up. I will not fear. I will not be ashamed. My help is coming from the Lord!”

‎PROPHETIC PRAYER POINTS

‎1. Lord, open my eyes to see the help You’ve already made available to me.

‎2. I reject every spirit of helplessness and despair, in Jesus’ name.

‎3. Every barrier between me and my divine help, break now!

‎4. Father, send help from unexpected places — shock my enemies with Your intervention.

‎5. O Lord, turn my delay into divine display.

‎6. I declare: I shall not be stranded. Help is coming to me speedily!

‎7. Every destiny helper assigned to my life — arise and locate me now!
