Text: Isaiah 43:21 People are created to show forth God’s praise. Example, God told Jeremiah the purpose of his existence; Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee and before thou cometh forth out of the womb, I sanctified thee and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”
Everything and Everyone God created is a product of divine agenda. There’s no useless person or things for God creates for a purpose.
IMPORTANCE OF KNOWING YOUR PURPOSE
(1) Purpose gives direction to life, when you know who you are, it helps you to know what to do. Habakkuk 2:2-3. (2) Fulfillment and success is attainable without stress. Purpose driven people are unstoppable. (3) God is glorified. When divine purpose is achieved God is glorified. Jesus testified in John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth, I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
OBSTACLES TO PURPOSE FULFILMENT
(1) Lack of knowledge or ignorance stops people from fulfilling purpose. Hosea 4:6. . (2) Spiritual attacks in form of satanic temptations (Satan tempted Jesus to stop HIM fulfilling purpose, Matt 4:1-11) and opposition from people (Sanballat and Tobiah tried to stop Nehemiah Neh.4:1-3) are designed to truncate destiny fulfillment.
(3) Lack of Faith. Doubt leads to impatience which also leads to wrongful steps. (James 1:6-8).
PROPHETIC PRAYERS
(1) My Father 2x show me the purpose of my existence. (2) Blood of Jesus, uproot anything that is designed to stop me from fulfilling divine purpose .
(3) Merciful God, strengthen me to fulfil destiny and to glorify my God in Jesus Name Amen.
