Lokoja, the Kogi State capital, has been thrown into mourning as a ghastly accident claimed the lives of Federal University Lokoja (FUL) students.
DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS gathered that the moving trailer had a failed brake, resulting in the accident that crushed over fifteen young students of the university.
According to Ismail Adeiza, the sad incident was a result of a Dangote truck that failed to brake. It ran into the students who were coming out of the school gate to go home after school activities, leaving over fifteen of them dead instantly.
This is happening after several cries to the Kogi State government to find a lasting solution to this issue of accidents along Felele road.
As of the time of filing this report, students of the university are still on the road crying over the sad end to the lives of their schoolmates.
