‎2027: Decisive Victory, Yahaya Bello Boasts On Defeating Natasha

‎A former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has boasted of securing a massive vote and decisive victory in the 2027 Kogi Central Senatorial District election.

‎Bello stated this during an interview on Politics Sunday, a programme on TVC, while expressing confidence in his chances ahead of the election.

‎Asked whether he could defeat the incumbent senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, whom the interviewer described as a popular opponent, Bello said that the election would determine his political standing.

‎He said, “The result will speak for itself.”

‎When asked if he remained popular enough to retain his nickname, the “White Lion,” the former governor replied, “Let the day come and go.”

‎Pressed on what the election day would bring, Bello declared, “Massive vote. Decisive victory.”

‎He subsequently clarified that the anticipated victory would be for himself and the All Progressives Congress.

‎Bello, who governed Kogi State from 2016 to 2024, is seeking to return to elective office by representing Kogi Central in the Senate in 2027.
