Governor Ademola Adeleke is set to inaugurate the Osun State ‘Rainbow committee’ for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign in Osun State.
Though won re-election recently on the platform of Accord Party, Gov Adeleke has threw all his support for President Tinubu Re-election.
Adeleke who is the Coordinator in the state, announced the inauguration activities in a statement through his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed.
He disclosed that the inauguration will be held at Oasis Event center, Osogbo, and the state body is billed to comprise a bipartisan list of political leaders and office holders.
The council structure comprises leaders, members, and National and State Assemblies candidates from the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Accord Party, and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In APC, Chief Bisi Akande, Adegboyega Oyetola, Iyiola Omisore, Ajibola Basiru, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, Titilaoye Ponnle, and Tajudeen Lawal (APC Chairman) among others made the committee.
Others on the list include former lawmakers and local government leaders of the party in the state.
In the Accord Party and PDP, members include Professor Wale Oladipo, Deputy Governor Prince Kola Adewusi, Chief of Staff Alh Kazeem Akinleye, Osun Assembly Speaker Adewale Egbedun, Adeleke’s cabinet members and party excos, including Hon. Sunday Bisi and Pastor Victor Akande, among others.
Meanwhile, APC has reiterated its unwavering commitment towards the electoral victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming presidential election.
A statement by the chairman of the party, Tajudeen Lawal, said “We are not unaware of the fact that the electoral victory of President Tinubu in the 16th January, 2027 election is a victory for all the members and supporters of our party which is the reason we can not handle the election with levity.
“President Tinubu as the presidential candidate of our party is also the national leader of the party under whose refuge we have been expressing our satisfaction in his numerous reforms that have been yielding positive results across the length and breadth of this country.”
