The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, His Excellency, Senator Dr George Akume and very distinguished Methodists and dignitaries from all walks of life would on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 grace the landmark Golden Marriage Anniversary of the Methodist Archbishop Emeritus of the Archdiocese of Abuja, His Grace Most Revd Dr Joseph Oche Job with his beloved wife, Dame Elizabeth Job.
According to a statement by one of the organizers of the event and Principal Partner of Sevann Chambers, Dame Offonmbuk Charles Akpabio Esq, the Thanksgiving service to appreciate God for the journey so far in the holy matrimony of Archbishop Job would hold at Methodist Cathedral of Unity, Wuse Abuja by 11am on Saturday while the reception would take place at the National Christian Center, Abuja.
The Ochanya K’Idoma and Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Land Transport, Rt Hon Chief Lady Hon Blessing O. Onuh will be the Chief host at the ceremony.
The statement added that the mobilizers of the golden celebration included the Chairman of Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission, (NCPC), who is also the Aso Villa Chaplain, and Methodist Bishop of the Diocese of Ikeja, Rt Revd Prof S.TV. Adegbite and Master Enoch Onoja Job.
