‎JUST IN: #OsunDecides2026: INEC Resumes Upload Of Election Results To IReV

‎The Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) has resumed uploading of results of Saturday’s Osun State governorship election to its Result Viewing Portal (IReV).

‎DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS reports concerns emerged over the prolonged delay in the upload of election results to the IReV, with the platform remaining unchanged for more than three hours.

‎But checks by DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS showed that the portal, which stopped receiving new uploads around 8:48 p.m, began reflecting fresh polling unit results shortly after 11:45 p.m on Saturday.

‎3,557 results had been submitted to the portal out of the 3,763 expected polling unit results across the state, accounting for 94.53 per cent.

‎The uploads followed the conclusion of voting and counting at several polling units as collation of results got underway across Osun’s 30 LGAs.

‎IReV is INEC’s online platform for publishing scanned copies of polling unit result sheets, allowing voters, political parties, candidates, observers and other stakeholders to independently view results as they are uploaded.

‎DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS also verified that the results on IREV is in tandem with the one on the website of Accord party, giving victory to the incumbent Governor Adeleke with a little over 70,000 votes margin.
