31 full members were on Wednesday confirmed as members of the church universal and Methodist Church Nigeria by The Rt Revd Dr Frederick Agada Gabriel Onoja, the Bishop Diocese of Kubwa in Abuja Archdiocese.

The Confirmees included Sunday Oluwaseyi Babalola, John Oche Oduma, Eti-Inyene Uwem Useh, Precious Augustine Nwankwo, Wisdom Chidiebube Innocent Peters and a retired DSP, Oche Onuminya and 25 others.

Bishop Onoja admonished the Confirmees not to toil with their salvation.
He urged them to present their lives as living sacrifice unto God – their maker in order to make heaven at the end of their race on earth.
”You must no longer be a copy copy Christian. You must stand out in well doing, living righteously and be example of believers in word, thought and action,” he stated.
Bishop Onoja noted that as they came out to be recognized as Full members of the Church through the confirmation service, they have taken a bold step to live for Jesus Christ and to live a sacrificial life. He prayed that God will sustain them in the new journey of faith.

Earlier, the Presbyter, Cathedral Circuit, The Very Revd Dr Samuel Jephthah Friday DCF, had presented the Confirmation candidates to the Bishop for examination and Confirmation rites.

Highlights of the Confirmation service were prayer of dedication for the newly confirmed members, Presentation of certificates and special thanksgiving.
Dignitaries at the service included the Managing Editor of DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS, Sir ‘Tunde Babalola JP and the Diocesan Music director and a Knight of Charles Wesley, Sir Uwem Jonah Useh PhD.
