‎‎JUST IN: Tinubu Swears In Enitan As Head of Federal Civil Service

‎President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sworn in Abel Olumuyiwa Enitan as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoCSF), formally ushering in a new leadership for the federal bureaucracy.

‎The President administered the oath of office to Enitan at the State House, Abuja, a week after announcing his appointment as the successor to Mrs Didi Esther Walson-Jack.

‎DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS recalls that Tinubu had appointed Enitan as the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, effective August 27, 2026.

‎He has served as Permanent Secretary for seven years and seven months, working at the Ministry of Police Affairs, the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and the Office of the Vice President.

‎President Tinubu received the new Head of Service and his predecessor at the State House on Friday, August 21, as part of preparations for a seamless transition in the leadership of the federal civil service.

‎His swearing-in formally completes the transition and places him at the helm of the federal civil service, where he is expected to drive the administration’s ongoing public service reforms.
