‎Methodist Faithful In Calabar Rallies Prayers For Release Of Member, Bassey Anwana From Kidnappers’ Den; Urges Security For Decisive Action

‎Members of Methodist Church Nigeria in Calabar have raised prayer chain for the safe return of a member of the church Mr Bassey Anwana who was kidnapped along with other passengers from speedboat  Friday evening.

‎DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS reports that Bassey Anwana, was kidnapped on Friday along side other 14 passengers on board a Speedboat while on transit to Oron, Akwa Ibom State, along Calabar – Oron Water Ways within Oron axis at about 6:00pm.

‎Bro Bassey Anwana is the younger brother of an Insurance expert and National Assistant Secretary of Methodist Men’s Fellowship, Elder Francis Anwana.

‎The Methodist Archdiocese of Calabar has then solicited for prayers from Christians especially Methodists for the safe return of Bassey Anwana.

‎”Please, I most respectfully and humbly request and appeal to you to join us in prayers for a safe and immediate release of Mr Bassey Anwana and other passengers in Jesus’ name. Let there be confusion in the camp of the kidnappers to facilitate the escape or release of their victims. May the good Lord protect them and cover them with the blood of Jesus Christ in the kidnappers camp in Jesus’ name,” the statement added.

‎They also urged the security architecture in Akwa Ibom to rally round for the rescue of the kidnapped passengers.
