The last National Executive Committee (NECO) meeting of Methodist Men’s Fellowship for 2026 is slated for Thursday September 17 to Sunday September 20.
Hoare’s Memorial Methodist Cathedral, Sabo, Yaba, Lagos, the seat of Lagos Mainland Archdiocese is to host the four-day meeting.
According to Bro Yemi Dada, the President of Men’s Fellowship in Lagos Mainland Archdiocese of the Church, all arrangements are in top gear for the successful hosting of the meeting.
DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS reports that His Grace, The Most Revd Dr Obafemi Bamidele Adeleye, the Archbishop of Lagos Mainland is expected to declare the NECO meeting open on behalf of the head of Methodist Church Nigeria and Prelate, His Eminence Dr Oliver Aba JP.
Since this would be the last meeting of the Conference Coordinator of Men’s Work in MCN, The Very Revd James Adikwu in that capacity having been elected Bishop during the 50th Conference of the Church held in Ibadan in August, the meeting would bid him farewell and pray for his success in the episcopal ministry.
All the National Executive Council, (NEC) members of the Fellowship as well as Presidents, Coordinators and Secretaries of Zonal/Regional and Archdioceses of the Church throughout the Conference Area are expected to attend the meeting.
The meeting is to discuss the progress of God’s work among men in the premier church.
The National President of the Fellowship, Sir Dr Kehinde Oladeji KJW would chair the NECO meeting with the support of the Coordinator of Men’s Work in the Church and Bishop-elect of Diocese of Apa in Benue State, The Very Revd James A. Adikwu and the National Deputy President, Evangelist Dr Emmanuel Oche.
