The suspended Rivers State Governor Some Fubara is at present been accommodated by his Bayelsa state counterpart, Governor Douye Diri, DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS reports.
President Bola Tinubu had on Tuesday March 18th in a nationwide broadcast declared a state of emergency in Rivers State and suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara; his deputy, Ngozi Odu; as well as members of the state House of Assembly for six months.
Our source hinted that Tinubu’s broadcast caught Fubara unaware, hence no preparations for an alternative accommodation for his family members.
Our source, who pleaded for anonymity confirmed that Gov. Douye Diri of Bayelsa is currently accommodating the suspended Gov. Simi Fubara of Rivers and his family, to cover his shame.
Another source in the know commended Diri for the “good neighbourliness spirit that is being exhibited here by Gov. Diri. This to me is African. This soft landing will go a long way to easing the embarrassment on Fubara’s family.
“I am sure Fubara did not see suspension coming otherwise he would have acted better.”
