‎‎Sunday Sermon: Be Still — God Is In Control By Pastor Prof Durodola Olujide Ajani JP

‎Text: Psalm 46:10 KJV

‎“Be still, and know that I am God…”

‎🌅 Today’s Reflection

‎There are moments when life becomes so busy and uncertain that we feel we must solve everything ourselves. But God gives us a powerful instruction: “Be still.”

‎Being still does not mean giving up. It means stopping the struggle, quieting the heart, and trusting God to be God.

‎You may not understand everything happening around you today. Some prayers may still be unanswered, some situations may still be changing, and some doors may not yet have opened. But your peace does not have to wait until everything is settled.

‎God is already in control.

‎When we truly trust Him, we stop allowing circumstances to determine the condition of our hearts. We can face uncertainty without becoming unstable, and we can walk through storms without losing our peace.

‎This is the overflow of peace God desires for us this September: a heart that remains anchored in Him regardless of what is happening around us.

‎Today, be still. Breathe. Pray. Trust. And remember that God has not lost control of your life.

‎🙏 Prayer:

‎Father, quiet my heart and help me to trust You completely. When I cannot understand what You are doing, give me grace to remain peaceful and stable. Take control of every situation concerning me and help me to rest in Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

‎💭 Thought for Today

‎🔥 Declaration

‎I AM STILL.

‎I AM PEACEFUL.

‎I AM STABLE.
