A group to bring sanity to the body of Jesus Christ, to foster unity in Christendom, ensure doctrinal purity, and expanding the Kingdom of God through apostolic and Episcopal leadership has been unveiled.

According to a statement made available to DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS, the Global Apostolic and Episcopal Network, (GAPENET) was established to provide level ground for minister of the gospel in order to establish Apostolic and Episcopal interaction, impartation, minister advocacy, structural support to ministries worldwide.

The International President of GAPENET, Archbishop Chaplain Dr Gideon Bamidele Akintunde, outlined the key aims and objectives of the establishment of the Global body to include:
1. Apostolic and Episcopal interaction, impartation and Fellowship –
Providing interaction: independent Church Leaders and ministries to prevent burnout and ensure accountability.
Networking: Connecting leaders globally to foster collaboration, unity, and shared resources among churches and ministries.
Fellowship: Organizing conferences, summits, and meetings for refreshing, encouraging, and networking among believers.
2. Training, Equipping, and Empowerment –
Leadership Development_: Providing training curriculum, Bible colleges, and specialized workshops for Church leaders and church Workers.
Ministerial Credentials:_ Issuing licenses and ordinations for ministers who meet specific, high-standard qualifications.
Restoring Apostolic Offices:
Reinstating the role of five fold biblical ministry for the growth and maturity of the Body of Christ.
3. Global Mission and Evangelism –
Expanding the Church:
Fulfilling the “Great Commission” through intentional evangelism, crusades, and missionary work to plant churches across nations.
Revival: Fostering a revival of apostolic experiences, including the baptism of the Holy Spirit, holiness, and the use of spiritual gifts.
Beyond Ministry Outreach_:
Reaching beyond church walls to impact society through business, education, and government.
4. Doctrine and Integrity
Preserving Truth: Maintaining and teaching the foundational doctrines of the Christian faith, protecting against false doctrine.
Accountability: Ensuring that members operate with integrity and adhere to ethical standards, often through a synodical or ministerial code of conduct.
Mentorship: Fostering a transfer of values and grace from older generations to younger leaders.
5. Strategic Organization and Impact –
Strategic Alignment:_ Aligning local ministries with global apostolic movements for greater impact.
Resource Sharing:_ Facilitating knowledge transfer, media development, and financial support for missions.
Restoration and Order_:
Bringing structural order to churches to maximize their potential in the 21st century.
6. To provide a spiritual home and administrative support for ministers worldwide, offering mentoring and relief to strengthen the church minister in every nation.
7 To restore all people to unity and love with God and each other, building a safe refuge for the faithful to grow in Christ-centered fellowship and prayer.
Archbishop Chaplain Dr Gideon Bamidele Akintunde added that The Global Apostolic and Episcopal Network, (GAPENET), attracts membership from several countries in Africa including Burundi, Ghana, Cameroon, Uganda, Liberia, Malaysia and the United Kingdom.
