Veteran Nollywood actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has reportedly died after battling cancer at theageof 65, DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS reports.

‎The actor’s death was announced on Sunday by one of his daughters in a post shared on Instagram.

‎The development comes just days after his daughters disclosed that the veteran actor was battling stage four cancer.

‎Hassan, who has enjoyed a distinguished career in the Nigerian film industry, was widely recognised for his memorable performances in Yoruba-language movies and his contributions to the growth of Nollywood.

‎The details surrounding his death were not immediately disclosed as of the time of filing this report.

‎His death is expected to be met with widespread mourning among colleagues, fans and stakeholders in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
