‎Arsenal scored two second-half goals to beat a ‘stubborn’ Sunderland 2-0 in the Premier League on Saturday night.

‎The Gunners travelled to the Stadium of Light with three wins out of three.

‎But Mikel Arteta’s side knew that a win against the Black Cats would take them above Manchester City on the table.

‎City are away to Manchester United in the Derby on Sunday evening.

‎The first half ended goalless, as Arsenal struggled to convert their domination to goals.

‎However, Bruno Guimaraes came off the bench to give the champions the lead with a vicious strike. The goal came after David Raya produced a stunning penalty save to deny Enzo Le Fe.

‎Bukayo Saka wrapped up the points from the penalty spot after he was fouled inside the area.

‎Arsenal now have 12 points, three more than City, who could draw level with victory at Old Trafford.
